Red Stalk Dandelion is actually a chicory with dandelion like leaves. It has a tangy slightly bitter yet delicate flavour. Red stalks and veins make it a very pretty addition to your salads. High in anti-oxidents. Harvest as baby greens for salad or allow to grow to full bunch size. Plant it anytime from spring to fall. Sow seeds in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked.
