The cherished favorite featuring everyone's favourite red-headed orphan, now in a deluxe hardcover edition with beautiful cover illustrations by Anna Bond, the artist behind world-renowned stationery brand Rifle Paper Co.

Anne, an eleven-year-old orphan, is sent by mistake to live with a lonely, middle-aged brother and sister on a Prince Edward Island farm and proceeds to make an indelible impression on everyone around her.

This book has a very special place in our heart and having it on our shelves *feels so right*.
A note from our founder:

"When I was a little girl, I steeped myself in tales of yesteryear. I knew Anne Shirley and Laura Ingalls well. Most definitely we were kindred spirits - bold and stubborn dreamers with soft hearts.

I remember being fascinated by the general stores of Avonlea and Walnut Grove. A simply magical place - rich in community - where one, greeted by name, could buy a pound of sugar, three pounds of flour, a few yards of cotton off the bolt and a new broom. Fresh, Pure, Quality.

Starting and building a business is a funny thing. So much dust is kicked up in the process. Then, somewhere three or so years down the line, the dust cloud settles and you find yourself sitting right-smack-dab in the middle of your dreams.

Well heck… Would you look at that!

This little general store, apothecary, mercantile [The Pale Blue Dot] may not face out onto a cherry blossom lined dirt road, but our high quality goods are tried ‘n’ true, and the community is alive ‘n’ well.

Our faith in a slower paced lifestyle is strong. There is so much to gain from traditional ways and living in alignment with nature.

Thank you for supporting this dream. What a pleasure it is to serve you and grow with you.

Mary 🌿"
