Mike is well known in Hamilton as a "detectorist" who has unearthed local history with a metal detector. He is currently featured on "Dirt Fishing with Mike Relics", which airs on Channel 14 on Monday evenings at 9:30 p.m. Published as a companion to the TV series, Mike's book features some of his most memorable finds. The book is 38 pages with approximately 100 colour photos and an engaging commentary providing background on Mike's discoveries and profiles of other local detectorists.
